Q2 reports are in, and amidst the sense of uncertainty still lingering eight months into the pandemic, there’s good reason to be hopeful about economic recovery.
Global stock markets rebounded in the second quarter, consumer spending increased, and the U.S. saw modest job growth over Q1. While this is good news, it’s important to note that overall, U.S. economic growth fell for the first time since 2014 (5%) reversing the growth of the last 10 years. Cautious vigilance and hope can and should go hand-in-hand.
